Ever spent too much time fumbling with your song list mid-gig? Or struggled to keep track of where you are in a rehearsal? Our Setlist feature is here to streamline your musical life! Setlists allow you to meticulously organize your songs in the exact order you need them for performances, rehearsals, songwriting sessions, or even just focused practice. Think of it as your digital stage manager, ensuring a smooth and professional experience every time. You can effortlessly add songs, remove those last-minute changes, and reorder everything with a simple drag and drop.

Getting Started: Creating Your First Setlist

Creating a setlist is quick and easy. Here's how:

1. Find the Setlists Section: In the sidebar, click the bright and inviting "Create new setlist" button. It's your gateway to organized musical bliss!
2. Name Your Masterpiece: After the setlist was created, you can click on the 'Untitled Setlist' textbox and give it a name. Think about what the setlist is for - "Live at The Roxy," "Rehearsal - New Songs," "Acoustic Covers," etc. A good name will save you headaches later!

Building Your Setlist: Adding, Reordering, and Removing Songs

Once you've created a setlist, the real fun begins! Populating it with your songs is a breeze.

• Adding Songs: Simply browse your song library and click to add songs to your setlist. You can add them one by one.
• Reordering Songs: Need to change the flow? No problem! Click and drag songs up or down the list to instantly reorder them. Experiment with different arrangements until you find the perfect sequence.
• Removing Songs: Made a change of heart? Hover over the song you want to remove from the list and click the "(-)" icon. It's gone in a flash!

Performance Mode: Seamless Navigation & Focus

We know things get hectic when you're performing. That's why we've built in a special Performance Mode when viewing a song within a setlist.

When you open a song that's part of a setlist, you'll notice a few key changes designed to keep you in the moment:

• Dedicated Navigation: Forget constantly jumping back to the setlist view! Clear "Previous" and "Next" buttons let you move directly to the next (or previous) song in your setlist with a single click.
• Setlist Position Indicator: A handy counter displays your current position within the setlist (e.g., "3 / 12"). You'll always know exactly where you are in the performance.
• Read-Only Mode (with Toggle): To prevent accidental edits during a performance, the song automatically opens in Read-Only Mode. This protects your carefully crafted lyrics and chords. Need to make a quick adjustment? Simply toggle the Read-only/Edit-Mode switch to unlock editing capabilities.
